Chico Rivera loves sleeping in the Racine library sitting up by the window catching some rays and slopping down the free coffee this library gives. Bums congregate to libraries not because they love books but mostly out of free space to snooze and abuse the ears of people blogging and working on research. Chico is just one of many homeless bastards that make the Racine County library a shithole as they loiter and smell the environment and make it worse than the reekness you would find in a local horse stable. Chico sucks up all that coffee and chair space often having to be told that his snoring has to be diminished.
Chico and his likes are parasites of the library making this learning place a delusionary place accepting to those with no real purpose and place to go. The library bum is an inconvenient stigma of society whose failures to educate its population have come full circle to these wandering tramps of society that has been a problem with capitalisms industrial hammering out of this nation and dependency on welfare and handouts. Chico and his Racine library ilk are the victims of globalization and this nations preponderance of creating profits for companies instead of demanding jobs within this country for all levels of skill and abilities. Chico clearly would rather be having a good paying productive job and opportunities to pay for a home with his own living room and view instead of being dependent on public buildings for a place to sleep during the day.
