Fat Phil Rosenthal wrote an article in Tribune services about the time to legalize sports gambling. This guy thinks that sports betting would give more interest to sports that it already Desmond receive through cultural media networks and daily discussion from dummies. apparently wealthy people some of who are tired of seeing their teams lose want to corrupt sports they way they have politics. Rich people would love to see sports gambling legalized as they can help their team to shortcuts to victory by buying bad p,ay from their rivals. Phil Rosenthal is an idiot to think mass gambling on sports would be good for sports and level of play.
I guess the guy never heard of the Black Sox. He equates ban on sports with anti-marijuana and same sex prohibitions and if there was a buck to be legally made some of these morons would also suggest opening up child porn. Luckily congress took the matter of sports betting out of states hands because Rosenthal would be right that many lame states would become right to gamble and corrupt sports states. Phil has hopes because Appearently NBA commissioner Nate Silver has been bought off to the right t gamble everywhere side and him arguing that sports legalized betting should occur shows what as make this Silver guy is. He should know basketball would be the first sport where many games would have questionable results from erratic play people not knowing if a guy made a bad play from pressure or hope of a game bonus from the other side. Sometimes I read an article like Phil Rosenthals recent Illinois sports gambling article and really wonder how low the levels of journalism have depth to as they pretty much have already sold themselves and opinions. It is know wonder that a Phil Fosenthal would be nonchalant approving of an athlete to have the same rights during games to sell his play to biggest bidder and their outcome they wagered for that day. Phil Rosenthal you are a complete idiot and jackass of the month.
