Sayed Al Essawy thought he was going to make a lot of money and become a Hollywood star. he had come up with a hyped event to battle a lion in a UFC type death match and spent a much jingle and silver buying a lazy six year old tamed lion. Mr. Al Essawy then promoted this match and the Palastian cause through the media and was hoping for a large turnout in a Egyptian stadium.
Instead he had to have the event in a middle of a wheat field after months of being haggled by the local government about the legality of this death fight. He hired buses to transport hundreds of spectators from the city of Mansoura, about an hour away and a small crowd eagerly waited for a recreation of an old gladiator match up with the kings of the jungle meeting the kings of queens. The resulting match was so borig that his life was more threatened by the angry crowd that paid good jingle to watch some bloodletting and not some guy calling a Lion a coward and just pretending to play with the obviously wussy pussy cat version of a lion. Many Egyptians who wasted their time and money watching this spectacle offered to jump in the cage and give this clown a real death match which Mr al-Essawy quickly dismissed as he was leaving collecting his booty. This event needless to say did nothing for the image of this guy or promote any tourism in a country which has been plagued by terrorism.
