Foolish American tourist opens window for a Lioness to maul her

Jake Glass
Animal stories with Jake Glass. An  American tourist Katherine Chappell moments before the deadly attack decided she needed to open her window and pet a lion as it resembled her house pet.
In the photo, the wild cat's huge paws are clamped onto the side of the white safari Jeep in which Chappell was a passenger. Almost as tall as the Jeep on her hind legs, she appears to be forcing her muzzle into the back window. Katherine Chappell was an elite woman who could afford to travel to the four corners of the planet disturbing wild animals in their native habitat. African safaris' cater to only the real rich and often on the news you see stories where some of these silly bastards do something stupid to get themselves killed by these powerful beasts.
She rolled down her window and the beast immediately pounced on her head like it was fresh Antelope only easier to capture and break. Chappell was a visual-effects engineer who had worked on such movies as "Godzilla," "Divergent" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," according to her Internet Movie Database profile. Most recently she was employed by visual-effects firm Scanline VFX, where her team won an Emmy for its work on an episode of the fourth season of "Game of Thrones.". A male lion was nearby the attack and gave his approval of this mauling of Katherine Chappell. Ms Chappell will not be making any disturbances nor safaris into the habitats of animals in south Africa anymore and future tourists need to pay more attention to the closed window policy of this park.
