White hipsters alianate fest in Humboldt Park

Ramon Ramos
Some new residents of Humboldt Park want to get back at businesses and other residents of this neighborhood for their  support of alderman Maldonado for ruining their riot Fest
This ridiculous punk rock festively has thrashed the park and inconvenienced residents of Humboldt Park for the past three years and they now have to trek to Douglass Park for this years festival. A recent thread showed the displeasure these white residents have for losing their beloved music Fest that the majority of the city and Humboldt residents don't follow.  Puerto Ricans are trying to resist gentrification and the demands of these new comers into Humboldt Park into the ethnic
neighborhood Puerto Ricans have long established. Many others have had to move to doldrums suburbs and aging industrial river towns out West I. Elgin and Aurora and now a new breed of poorer hipsters are again trying to initiate the process of Puerto Rican displacement in Chicago. Newcomer residents who were out priced in Wicker Park,Lincoln Park, and Bucktown now seek refuge in older ethnic neighborhoods like Pilsen and Humboldt Park and now want to boycott businesses because they didn't support bending over to the organizers of Riot Fest. A recent thread shows ,any of the racial views and anger at support for this great alderman s decision to cancel the Riot Fest after last years disastrous concert and costly mess. Alderman Maldonanado was also answering complaints to ow and why yet another musical Fest was allowed in this park to begin with. The number of music and costly street feats catering to yuppies and their drinking and eating obsession has quadrupled in recent years often being costly or out of touch with the non-professionals of the city and the arrogance is easily observable by supporters of Riot Fest and the organizers who refused to believe they would lose it in Humboldt Park. The unexpected move by alderman Maldonado was pleasantly surprising and shocking to these musical jagoffs.
