College football game ending in Michigan shows power of gambling fixing
David Berkson
Last nights Michigan-Michigan St football game is being herald as a freak ending and another amazing chapter to this football rivalry. Sports addicts across the nation will be talking up this game at the office cooler and college football will get a lot of publicity for this big game on Saturday. What should really be exposed is how this game was fixed and determined by the god dam punter. These college players do not get a dam dime from their athletic achievements or play on the field and they are prevented from making even a little jingle off the field. if anyone thinks this game ended with the premise of the punter actually mishandling the ball and not being told that the bookies wanted Michigan State to win then I got some pet rocks that purr to sell to you. This ending was the biggest bullshit and if no one thinks that these college or pro football games can't easily be furtively fixed depending on the gambling tide then they are total dipshits. Sports wagering and setting is a big business and this continent is not immune from this sports fixing possibilities as Europe has been with their own soccer score-fixing scandals in past years. Michigan punter Blake O'Neil just had to make a simple punt to cement the game for Michigan and most likely he was part of a group trusted and ensured that the outcome of this game would be determined by bookies when they looked at their receipts. This ending smells fishier than a Louisiana bayou. This is total bullshit but is basically the big time money farce that is college football these days. Except more freakish weird endings or plays during college games in the near future.
