No country for Old men at ball games seeking attention (Part Two) Marlins guys

Leroy Yost
Laurence Leavy is another old hoot with too much money to spend and spends much of his time traveling around the country and watching important baseball games. He spends his money at Stubhub and ensures he gets key seats at World Series games wearing a bright orange Florida Marlins jersey regardless if they are playing in the fucking actual game or not. In most cases they are not as Laurence wears his favorite jersey of his favorite team into any stadium to declare his love for the Marlins. he owns a Law firm that specializes in workers compensation cases so you know he makes his money mostly from bullshit. Laurence has received some national attention as eyes often wander away from the slow and repetitive inaction on the field and into the stands. I am amazed at how often the cameras shift to the stands these days as compared to when I watched baseball in the seventies and eighties. As far as the fifty two year old Laurence being seen and receiving attention is something he sough out and waited a long time in attending these games. Naturally is must of been expensive through the years buying tickets and traveling to all these World Series games that didn't even have his beloved favorite team. Last year though in the series between the Giants and Royals he finally did receive some media scrutiny mostly from social media and sports sights needing content. Just like the slim Ronnie "Woo Woo" Wickers in Chicago, Laurence and these other older fans are actually becoming nice little mascots in their own right getting recognition in this new reality -like sport attending world we live in as peole try to find something of interest in baseball.
