Dick Dubin helps turn the tide against big league tobacco display

Dave Berkson
Illinois senator Dick Durbin has been fighting big tobacco for a long tie and the impressive gains that he has seen in the fight against this cancer-causing product has been impressive. One arena he hasn't been that successful is in Major Legue Baseball and the insistence of the players union not to negotiate for ending tobacco chewing in the dugout during the games. This was a hard battle that frustrated Dick Durbin but just recently the Chicago city council voted to ban big league chew in the dugout thtat lone been brain-targetint children that this was something admirable and to emulate. As Dick Durbin pointed out the increase use of chewing tobacco, which leads to oral cancer, by children and young adults withen the past ten years demanded regulation of players using this disgusting and dangerous habit. Five big-league cities have now banned this product from being used during games despite vociferous opposition from some stubborn bastards on the field. Conservative bastards like Michael Savage, Mark Levin, and other right-wing jackasses say this is another government intrusion in life and especially something sacred such as baseball tradition. Fuck them and if they want to chew this shit and get canker cancer in their mouths let them do it on their own time and not display it in a stadium for impresionful youthful folks to see it and pick up this bad and gross stinking habit. Chewing Tobacco should of never come to be associated with the sport and long after these bans we will have old pictures of bug-eyed and big diped cheeked players to look at and marvel how a product so stupid ever became so associated with what was formerly the pastime sport of this dumb nation.
