Arby's gyros sandwich offerings tasted like old goat

Chuck Woodruff
Arby's has decided to compete with the independent gyros places by selling gyros all of a sudden. The gyros sold by Arby's is either roast beef or turkey and not the unusual exotic mystery meats these Greek or Turkish restaurants often put in their gyros plates. The Arby's turkey variety was as disappointing as the chicken gyros dishes I often try at gyros places as there is something about the meat and pita bread that does not make for a superior combination. I am old school and pretty much enjoy my chicken served by itself never really enjoying any chicken or bread combination. Arby's has these two gyros for six dollars combo sale and in eating one of these awful imitations of roast beef gyros I can't conclude why most people would eat the second. These sandwiches are drippy and messy and not in a good beneficial way because the food sucks. it basically tastes like a regular Arby's roast beef sandwich without their normal tasty bun and some weird spice thrown on it. This ting tastes noting like a gyros is suppose to taste and in this offering Arby's once again shows how fast-food places screw up when they try to get away from their normal menu. there are many experts out there on the YouTube world who will dialogue ten minutes whether tis is a good offering or not but I will tell you straight. Never go to a fast food franchise for something like gyros. Arby's makes roast beef and they do it well but will always be a roast beef sandwich place with bad curly fries. I went into eating tis gyros meal at Arby's thinking it was going to be bad tasting and was not disappointed. all tis did was make me feel created and wanting to get real gyros someplace else for the next meal.
