Casper sterotypical comic strip of sixties was bad

Casper comics were sixties shameful comic artwork by one and few of these comics offered anything of value. Casper on both print and television just really sucked. perhaps the worse one was Casper portray with train against Indians in comic 23473 somewhere in fall of 61 I believe. Give or take a few years.
Once again Indians detailed as complete idiots and savages attacking Casper and his train throughout this comic strip and one has to wonder what was going through Alfred Harvey as he drew these strips. Casper the Ghost comic strip was full of racist behavior in its story lines and there was of entertainment or informative knowledge for children. in this strip all it taught was for kids to think Native-Americans were complete buffoons and savages willing to scalp a dead spirit boy and a talking train. often looking back at all things Casper from its inception in 1939 in some sorry book for kids it is amazing that this character lasted as long as it did and these Alfred Harvey comics in the late fifties and sixties were the heyday of all things Casper and this shameful Indian strip was lone major plots of the era. Casper was geared towards kids but I doubt many would ever admit outwardly that they were fans of this cartoon to their friends. Even for the standards of the sixties this cartoon was so cheesy and dumb a kid would have to be dead to be an avid fan of this character. As I look back at many drawings and comics of Casper in this era i am struck just how dam uninteresting the entire script and everything involved with this strip and what a waste of paper that was this garbage strip. It is surprising that newspapers had this Casper crap. a Ghost comic strip could of been done good but having a goodie kiddie as the character was complete shit and not even worthy of a two eek outdoor Halloween door mat.
