Muhammad Ali is dead. The boxing garrulous great died the other day after a twenty year battle with Parkinson's had effectively made his brain French toast and my recollection with this guy was back as a kid in his heyday as the media pushed this guy into stardom. before television boxing was a minor sport really not followed by many and basically this man doesn't deserve the praise he is getting from all aspects of culture. All Cassius Clay ever was in life was a legalized thug handsomely rewarded through te mobster induced violence of gambling and boxing and many of his matches later in his career were suspect. He lost any boxing matches that fame rewarded him in bouts and all Muhammad Ali and Cassius Clay was just somebody who was lour, rude, and crude just gaining fame for smashing peoples mouths. Muhammad Ali and his fame was all that was wrong with America in the sixties as he became a Muslim and joined a bizarre cult. He also refused to serve his country as he put religion and race before country. For this Ali was rewarded and was truly the first globalized sports star given fame by forces who loved his anti-Americanism. The Al Sharpton' and civil rights legends praise and eulogized this man who undoubtedly would of joined any religious radical racial group and only picked the Black Muslims because they were the largest. if there was a racial black Buddhist pro-Black anti-white group in the sixties this guy would of clearly joined it instead of the Black Muslims. Cassius was no Jackie Robinson nor Willie Mays nor even Willie Mcgee without any real athletic talent aside from ducking and weaving punches and delivering them in a timely manner. This guy would never of played team sports as his arrogance was on par and resembled a German world War II officer more than a sporting chap. The world is a better place without the glorification of boxers and of this chump. This guy was no hero and just a guy who knocked people out on the floor and only through this could he be called a champ. is intelligence level and obnoxious loud attitude didn;t resemble most people but ore of a chimp. Muhammad Ali finally dead at the age of seventy something and hopefully no boxer or this sport will ever achieve the level it once did with this chimp who always had a racial chip on his shoulder.
