The Back of the Yards neighborhood is an atrocious poverty-stricken neighborhood in Chicago full of brown trash and gangbangers. The derelict neighborhood is n the news often with shootings and the community has often had many members who have little regard for their environment. With this in mind a rookie alderman has decided to go after the tire dumpers in his community and all I can say it is about time. Nothing makes a neighborhood look more like a ghetto than assholes leaving their old tires instead of properly disposing of it and Alderman Raymond Lopez is pushing for a major crackdown. He demanded a city inspection of tire shops in the area and the area of his district has long been plagued by continual illegal dumping be it landscaping waste or construction debris. The tire dumping is most evident and poses most public health danger. slowly city inspectors are finding violations from cheap and lazy businesses and these tires could eventually be traced back to the source and Lopez suspects many of these small mom and pop shops are dumping these tires instead of going thorough the costly procedure of disposing tires in a landfill by law. Your immigrant small business family shops always cut costs and try ways of operation in the old country where regulation and acceptance of environmental degradation is so easily accepted from poor citizens. many of these shitty tire shops don't want to ay the costs of doing business and dealing with disposal of hazardous and dangerous objects out in the open and this is one alderman that is doing his job and showing these business people the power of government against their abuses and disregard for rules and disrespect for a community theough their illegal dumping and high costs that arise from it.
