A massive leftist riot in berlin saw over a hundred arrests and a hundred and twenty policemen injured in what some are describing the worse rioting Germany has seen in five years. A court in Berlin has ruled that a police raid on a left-wing squat in the capital was illegal.
The raid on June 22 triggered a series of clashes between left-wing extremists and police. As leftists have been fighting gentrification and the displacement of people in the area for some time. it seems these leftists were angry that many squatters in a building were told to leave and then carted away like reuse when they refused to leave their homes. A court in Berlin has ruled that a police raid on a left-wing squat in the capital was illegal.
How many of the squatters were in Germany illegally is not known but the police in berlin have taken a more strong stance against the presence of beggars and scum in recent months. City interior minister Frank Henkel has called the rioting, which followed police operations last month at buildings taken over by squatters, a "leftist orgy of violence."
In the most violent incident, 123 officers were injured during a riot in the Friedrichshain district that has undergone rapid gentrification in recent years.
According to German news agency dpa, Berlin's regional court ruled Wednesday that the owner of the building had failed to submit a bailiff's order that would have justified the raid. Clashes between leftists and fascists was a daily occurrence in the Weimer republic and it seems the same chaos Central banks created in other countries is coming home to roost in German with these Greek-type rioting against the fourth Reich and the modern day fascist state that controls Germany and the EU.
