Greg Harriet of Allentown Pennsylvania wanted to be first so he stood outside alone for hours. He was standing in front of a Walnut creek Dunkin Donuts waiting for this atrocious franchise and its new location the in the San Francisco area and he was soo joined by a mob of morons not understanding the degradation of ubiquitous annoyance that is about to hit their part of the country thanks to this chain. In the Chicago area there are some four hundred Dunkin Donut chain some within walking distance from another ..in suburbia. Luckily Milwaukee and Rockford have rejected this nasty chain and there are few of these stolid stores around in these areas. San Francisco and the entire state of California also recently avoided this franchise in recently when the franchise must of bribed some politician to get their foot back in the door in California. Basically as stated before this chain is on a construction binge to create access to the devoted Indian Bengalis willing to bring their families and have opportunities for them to work all day for the equivalent of four dollars and hour. This is a win-win situation for all except people with a mind and taste realizing how bad the product of this corporate franchise. the fact that they cover such visible space everywhere should also be alarming and in their drive to make America run on ugly sameness everywhere they are penetrating the SF market at an alarming rate with their cookie cutter cutting edge of cheapness architecture. maybe to Franciscans a Dunkin Donuts may seem exotic but when there are a hundred of them and they are all run by foreigners you think it might wake up the assholes and make them realize what is happening to their country and original identity of their communities. Dunkin Donuts bombed once in California again but this time it is backed by a global network and powerhouse whose main objective is complete marketplace sameness and domination destroying any opportunity and hope of a mom and pop family business that wants to make donuts fresh and not in some factory in a downtown. The days of this franchise making fresh donuts at location are long gone since the tie they got rid of their pitchman Hitler looking dweeb guy who always pitched the idea that he was constantly making a fresh batch of donuts hourly. The fact that there are so many God dam Dunkin Donuts arounf the country shows the power of the global conglomerate than actual American willingness to put up with such cruddy product and drink.
