Jeff Bezos and his plans of making drones as ubiquitous as mail trucks has about as much chance of star trek transformation travel. Jeff Bezos is counting on amazons monopoly of internet sales. Bezos is pushing prime air as some sort of payback to drone affecianados and lovers of model airplanes and basically going to use his economic power to fund these engineers for a project that really is never going tot ake off.
The idea of drone delivery especially in urban areas where this knucklehead is thinking this service would be most profitable and efficient is unbelievable given the buidings and high rises. another issue in this drone nonsense that is never brought up is the feasibility of lifting products and the cost and energy needed to actually accomplish this even if this dream of Bezos ever got off the ground. How is this more economically sustainable and cheap than bulk airplane shipment of product through air technology long established by airplane. if it was cheaper to ship by single engine airplane wouldn't it be established by now? The idea of delivering one box of diapers for delivery and ease and profit is not even a reality. Jeff Bezos is an elite that showed the world he could raise Amazon onto a powerhouse and now in a desperate quest to remain a total monopolist the cognitive delusion aspect of this man is coming out as he hopes buzzing drones zigzagging all across the sky in the millions is a possibility and vision he dreams about in his warped brain at night collecting his zzzzs. In reality though a Jeff Bezos is only aboe to invest his profits into wasteful aspirations such as fly by drones dropping hot pizza to peoples cribs because the billionaire class of which he belongs avoid taxes and instead pay each other or those really into engineering and research into making drones and other craft that they can hurl into space and become debris in a bout a decade.
