Justin Hodge and new night club Smooth Fox in downtown Elgin has been nothing but trouble

I knew this past summer when Justin Hodge was given a go ahead to bring a Black club to downtown Elgin Illinois that it was going to be trouble and police would be called every weekend. Sure enough the bar is already drawing intense and strict monitoring after several incidents and these things will always follow a Black night club these days and it is only a matter of time before there is a shooting and death in the place. I don't now what the city of Elgin was thinking when it granted  this turkey a liquor license and to have a hip hop club stay open late and operate in their downtown and now has brought nothing but trouble.  Black music and hip hop rap clubs always bring trouble because trouble unfortunately is what thugs are all about and these guys like rap music and not the civic opera. Hodge is just the latest owner that has walked in revolving door location and brought nothing but trouble with his new Smooth restaurant and sorry excuse of a night club.
In the wake of a man's arrest on gun charges over the weekend, Elgin police will review reports involving a downtown bar and decide whether to take action.Image result for nothing but trouble chevy chase dan aykroyd movie
It's unclear if 18-year-old Raymond A. Griffin of Elgin was a patron of the bar. He was arrested after a 911 call at 2:48 a.m. Sunday to report several people fighting and shooting at each other outside Smooth Fox, 51 S. Grove Ave., according to a police report. This is the third major incident of fighting spilling out of the streets as Hodge and his crew try hard to bring the rough streets of Rockford and the South Side of Chicago and nothing but trouble  into the heart of Elgin's city centre trying desperately to draw an more elegant scene.   The Smooth Fox is a joke of a business and Most of the suburbs of Chicago would never let Hodge or his business ventures go forward especially in Itasca, Illinois the home of the Itasca Inn of which I co-own. The problem is that the old village leaders running the village are persuaded by businessmen willing to fork over money to get their restaurants and night clubs open in a city regardless if it is obvious the plan will not work and is nothing but trouble.  Hodge was non chalet  when describing the chaos his club has brought since its inception last summer.
The club is for those 21 and older after 11 p.m. but this doesn't prevent nothing but trouble even asImage result for nothing but trouble chevy chase dan aykroyd movie Fridays and Saturdays, when bouncers also search patrons for weapons, Hodge said. Six to 12 employees work security, depending on the event and crowd size, he said. I get the biggest bucks I can manage to buy.
Hodge has cooperated with police in the past, and there have been no discussions with him yet regarding this weekend's incident, Cmdr. Colin Fleury said.A man was arrested early Sunday in Elgin after someone reported shots being fired outside Smooth Fox, a venue that opened downtown in June. There was also a report for a fight in August and a very large fight in September.
Records show three other police reports involving the bar, which opened in early June.
Hodge said that's not much in his line of business. "There is no club in Elgin that has not had a fight. Name me one and I will give them congratulations." the cocky prick Hodge said ignoring the fact that his bar has immediately broughtnothing but  trouble.
Hodge said he keeps a close eye on the bar and that his bouncers act swiftly to prevent issues from escalating.
"It's not like it's an every-week occurrence, like it used to happen in the Foxhole back in the day or over at the Gasthaus," Hodge said, naming two former Elgin bars. "It's nothing like that. But now with social media, small things get taken out of proportion and exaggerated." Elgin Illinois made a huge mistake giving this guy and his bad bar liscence to operate and bring down the downtown scene and making people scared and ore concerned with the riff raff shit now attracted to this Smooth Fox Justin Hodge
