Mel Gibson and other Hollywood pschopaths play armymen to this day

Mel Gibson is a war hawk. The choleric former actor and now turned director just loves seeing state-sponsored violence eon the big screen and Mel has always been fascinated by portraying fighting and military actions on the big screen. Unquestionably if a real war ever came out though Mr Gibson would take to the Hollywood Hills and do his best to avoid the reality of conflict. In the meantime though he makes big bucks for bringing out boring war movies and he has another one coming out called "Hacksaw Ridge". This movie is about some religious seventh-day adventis named Desmond Doss who was put onto the battlefield and allowed not to carry a weapon of death. Mel Gibson stated he wanted this war to be different from the dozen of other war movies he has been personally involved as he wanted to make this war movie and to have the ugly intensity of war Image result for mel gibson director hacksaw ridgedisplayed. Melvin didn't want to go heavy on computer effects as most movies do this day and he had a buddy model-maker Geoff Kemmis create a little 12 by 14 clay model battlefield and the two of them played army men with little green army men toys toiling scenarios and fights for weeks. Image result for playing army men toysI think when I read of Mel Gibson's huge model set and that he actually used some of this miniature set for this movie it explained why this guy loves war movies and how he spent so much of his youth in viviv imagination and fascination wit little green and other colored armymen toys. I once took ROTC and there was these grown men like Captain Clay Mitchell of Southern Illinois University that actually had these little model sets and toys and played out visions and tactics in the classes we would take out in the field. it was pathetic and for men like Mel Gibson and Clay Mitchell these men never outgrow their play toys they would toil for hours in the sandlot. Mel Gibson was able to move is little immature green plastic men and move his troops through the battlefield and clearly through filming of tis movie Mel's brain became dislocated and he thought he was Patton and Eisenhower at some point. I wonder if at some point the spirits of these soldier feel their deaths were in vain as it now serves as fodder for wealthy elites to make profit form silly filmmaking and storytelling of the brutality of wars these directors and actors never really had to experience nor would experience if Russia attacked Poland tomorrow ushering a NATO World War III. Image result for men army men toys The sad thing though is you have these movie directors playing up to the cult of the military industrial complex and projecting war as some patriotic and impressive courageous display of humanity and this type of thinking played up well a hundred years as in convincing millions of Europeans to run directly into machine gun fire and artillery barrages. perhaps no other art form of the elites to waste and eliminate the poor masses couldn't be invented that warfare and portrayal of it as a positive aspect of manhood and courage.
