Stein Tonnesson thinks he knows more than Vietnamese generals who fought in 1946

Runs Like Cougar
the wars against the indigenous people were stepped up in 1946 following the second World war and France was eager to begin reasserting itself in Indochina. at the same time the power of the nationalistic Chinese state was being tested in China and the country was eager to clamp down on communism. Stein Onnesson brings a book exploring the contingent plans for  thirty year warfare across Indo-China in a book called " Vietnam 1946" as the author covers the key diplomatic disagreements and basic breakdown in negotiations. Everything  a reader wants to know hos the Vietnam war started can be found in this book. Image result for stein tonnessonThe arrogance of the French and the trap they laid out to bait Vietnamese nationalists to starting the war is laid out to the December 19 attacks in 1946 that stated three decades of intense warfare in Vietnam to first throw of the yoke of the French and then bate the American puppets and unify the country. Vietnamese nationalists couldn't quit understand what the British and Americans had turned away from their nationalistic independence views and sided with the French to remain as a great power to the detrimental of the Vietnamese.Image result for stein tonnesson  Americas involvement in this country could of been avoided by a French withdrawal and unification of the country at the time. However t, the domino affect thinkers of the time wanted America to be the world leader and the rest of the war of course is history. The Vietcong though would not be inferior armed like the Sioux though and the American occupation would be resisted in both Vietnams that peace accords had set up following the withdrawal of the French forces in 1954. Tonnesson knows his stuff on post world war Vietnamese nationalist movements and he challenges existed between the capitalist world and communism in this time period.  some of the misconceptions to how these embittered conflicts developed and expanded as a major overall result of the actual hot war that was brutal. Tonnesson also thinks he knows better than Vietnamese generals who were there at the start of the war arguing with general Giap that the French lead the Vietnamese into war because the local colonial French forces wanted a war before a new socialist French government initiated peace talk stein Tonnesson insists this war was preventable and theat the Vietnamese were about to get their independence handed like the Philippines but somehow the war profiteers and capitalists waged a long war far away fro  their epicenters.
