Rock star famed economist Thomas Pikketty was on hos world tour speaking on inequality and stopped by Australia to discuss this nations particularly wide ranking on the inequality index of the world. Australia is perhaps the most unequal country in the world and Pikketty purposely went there for this discussion to explain to these cats why their economy is totally unfair and is open for major change and he blamed the Anglo-Saxon world for really pushing the idea of neo-liberalism which all know is pretty much a new form of neo-colonialism where the power and wealth of those small narrow class that benefitted from colonialism through the decades still retain much of the global power through trade.
Piketty presented detailed research on growing income inequality compiled by a number of scholars and sourced directly from national taxation and income statistics from primarily advanced capitalist countries, as well as some statistics from a number of the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). The Brics are basically helped out by western industries as new sources of investment and for them to move their money around the globe away from taxation and governments.
