Charles Wollforth and Amanda Hendrix think humanity's destiny is on some moon man many many moos away. These doctors of interplanetary bullshit wrote a book called "Beyond Earth" which is another book of dreaming big of an interplanetary wasteful research that people like these two scientists benefit from wasteful government spending.
Yee idea of space travel is laughable and in reading this book does appear at times these two space cadets realize the futility of mankind need to land on Titan or explore the valley and mine for peanuts on Mars. The human capacity for explore is the result f nonsense books like this being written and the hope for humanity according to these authors is our need to fin ways to profit from space travel and exploring habitable lands such as this moon Titan. Space travel is complete nonsense and it would cost society more to send a few fools in space than the rest of humanity would gain from this exploration. the real space dream for humanity is for elite scientists to get funding for impossible projects and not to move everyone from earth to Saturn's moons in case of a comet. That would never be done and is complete nonsense.
These are two people who read a lot of science fiction aside form writing about space exploration in the near future and there is a reason we see few space rocket and shuttle missions. the amount of energy just for blast off is insane and has been deadly and again as I said before if mankind can't even perfect the fucking jet pack then these two idiots and others in the scientific community need to quit the talk of Mars, Titan, or Uranus missions for man. Mankind is not destined to live in other galaxies because we evolved to live on earth and is as simple as that. Anyone who thinks that in a million years there will be Star Wars civilizations is just watching too many space movies and wishing for something that can never happen. this is of course a book and I guess attempts to negate these restrictions and just looks at if man can find unlimited fuel and finds out how to make space ships of limited resources perhaps everyone can mold a space ship from a 3d printer or somehow. The only people who gain from talk of impossible dreams are people like Amanda Hendrix and King Charles Wohlforth who go out and write these silly prediction books of what space travel and missions would be for the people who would venture out much like those in the past that sailed to a new world in North America. there of course is a big difference in the vacuums of space and the vastness of acquiring food and avoiding solar radiation and man-eating space aliens and Amanda and Charles write a chapter of the many barrios for survival that would make a journey to planet X a little difficult. I can see Amanda's real estate car now for condo complexes on Titan selling for a cool billion dollars
Nonetheless they want to write and sell books and Beyond Earth" looks at the day when mankind will be able to fix these problems and learn to travel like what we saw in Star Trek and perhaps this is the way and how humanity will eventually settle Titan. You can just write and say man has landed and put out fake news and bring money into the owners of space equipment and mining that is never done and don't be surprised if there is not rich people already planning on this and creating value of something in space they supposedly own in which doesn't really exist. This would not be unlike what we see for much folks of wealth on Earth right now.
