He Fan no fan of the cheap Chinese construction to isolate the poor

  Famed Chines economist He fan is no fan of the massive cheap construction in his native China and Hyjonzone province. Throughout China and places wit funny names the government of China is throwing row after row of tall buildings and this has been the basis of their growth through the decades and the massive cement planting of the Chinese is more and more being seen as the cause of massive increases in climate change. He rightfully says what you will get is a repeats of American public housing and the troubles of the Banlieus which construction firms profit from government contracts building these isolated dormitories for the poor in China.

I became a fan of He Fan when he announced that in order to meet government quotes Chinese firms were building roads that stretched into the desert. China is making the same mistake the UK and he US did some decades back thinking that it was a good idea to put the poor in tall buildings and isolate them from economic opportunity. He Fan is the shit for bringing out the facts that much of Chinese building growth is a ponzi scheme and is used to build unnecessary projects to fund favorite state companies and their elite owners. The buildings that snookered the poor to move into the cities will be the housing of last resort and never maintained and pursued for improvement and keeping up with the costs to make high-rise living ideal that only the upper middle classes and luxury wealthy Chinese enjoy in China and elsewhere around the world. This economist he is smart and he says e higher the high-rise, the more critical become the elevators, the more complex its operating systems.  Verticality means higher costs and is incompatible with poor people, especially those who have recently moved from the country.  Chongqing is asking for trouble.

He knows the impossibility keeping up maintenance of high-rise for the poor will be not affordable as China realizes having a massive infrastructure makes it harder to find funds to keep these capital projects stabalized and standing.
