Famed British globalist economist Ha Joon Chang has some observations about the direction of British politics and the role of money after this latest round of political battle in Londonstan. Ha Joon recently wrote for the very liberal Guardian website that the persistent myth that the government spends too much on welfare preventing a healthy productive debate on allocation of resources and cash. Ha Joon mocked world-wide conservative beliefs that the budget needs to be balanced and basically this has always been a comment used by the wealthy classes to prevent others from enjoying the fruits and success of a empire/state and prevent the lower and middle classes form purchasing class signaling luxury items. Ha laughed and ha ha haed about how desperate the belief of this austerity is as the Laubor Party in Britain is such a joke they feel the need to watch all spending to the last penny. Ha Joon and other Keynes economists say spending has more to do with circumstances than balancing and when a country is in such stagnation balancing the budget and worries should be the least of concern.
The Cambridge University incredible professor also said that there is not huge welfare spending as claimed and that much of the welfare needs is the result of massive influx of liquidity overseas driving up real estate and pushing people ou of economic growing zones and neglecting them to areas of cheap land and little investment and job creation. This global problem and the growing divide between rich cities and the poor countryside is being replicated throughout the nation-state and allowed to develop through politicians and their gorwing need to fund political campaigns s from the very same interests demanding balanced budgets and austerity cuts.
The growing divide between rich and poor in London was evident as the poor saw their shoddy living conditions and poor housing go up in flames despite calls for safety inspections were ignored given the financial means of the residents in this tower being deemed unimportant. Ha Joon also talked about the importance of expenditures for education and health as necessary payback for the productivity possibility down the road for future residents and that conservative calls calling for slashing of spending on this human investment is draconian and just plain stupid as it threatens the human productivity capability that is often evident in so many run down industrial towns in England and the social catastrophe is brings. Mr Chang also mocked those who say taxes are a burden wondering if these same people would consider Netflix responsibilities or take out curry dishes a burdensome to their financial resources despite the importance of these services.
