Company Man is a dude who makes videos through the internet and focuses his interest in failed ventures and how big companies like Kmart and Sears fell on the wayside. Company Man is an amazing speaker and young fellow and his award-winning videos is clearly making him an interesting YouTube sensation and he seems to do some of the usual research one will expect coming across a guy researching how American companies decline.
His annalist though misses many marks and says little on how hedge funds go after the wealth and work tenaciously to make these iconic American companies fail. A times Company Man (he never gives puts out real name) sounds like a corporate hack often repeating the lie that the marketplace and keeping up with trends is something these companies often fail to adapt as he did explaining the fall of KMart not remodeling their stores updating the look and so forth ignoring how cheaper dollar stores are even more chaotic,i nept, and disordered that Kmart or Sear ever was yet this hasn't nor would stop their growth because they bring cheap Chinese product and poor quality to the market by the poverty stricken public mass desperate to spend and purchase on the whim much of it on stuff they can in reality do without. Company Man's analysis of Kmarts fall is most egregious and the Mart was attacked by corrupt local villages and hedge fund collusion to basically take away their large predominance in a community shopping district and develop and lease out other junk places.
Company Man sounds intelligent on business and how these businesses decline but he ignores the basic business that those on top will constantly be attack form outside forces wishing to eclipse it with their own ideas and they will use everything in their power to bring this about. It has nothing to do with changing taste of the consumer and more major money and forces manipulating the consumer towards a certain manipulated direction and mining of old company to extract the wealth form it.
