Famed author and right-wing pundit Laura Ingraham looks at presidential populism through the years starting with Ronald Reagan in a book called "Billionaire At The Barricades". Ingraham goes through many objectives of t objectives of the elites hijacking populism movements and recalls the Clinton presidency and how trade deficits quadrupled with China. She examines George Bush W and the desire to make America's armed forces at rent a military doctrine and abuse. Both Bush administrations are looked with disdain for the treachery and false promise it rode a populism wave but help lead to the dismantling of many of Reagan's goals and policies that turned this country around in the right economic direction.
The event leading up the populism movement electing Donald Trump was long in the making and a reactionary against the disastrous policies of both Bill Clinton and George W that president Trump avoided a repeat with his thrashing of Jeb and Hillary despite all of the corruption,distortion, and fraudulent voting viciously put forth upon the enemies of America within and outward that demanded one of the Bushes or Clinton reign supreme again and keep business humming for the connected masters of neo-liberalism and their globalist objective of redistribution at the expense of Americans and other resistance to global NWO empires. Laura Ingraham has been a fighter against these forces pushing to make the country beholden to lenders seeking to make America another totalitarian repressive corrupt nation that sees the planet filled with these advocates of plutocratic rule which was unfortunately came to America with the election of Barack Hussein Obama as Laura's book covers extensively and being key to help a new populist movement of resistance to this fake American open borders radical. The egregious fast track movement of the Obama administration rose up conservatives who realized this man and the Democrats basically wanted to erase all vestiges of this nation and trample and re-write the constitution. Obama's takeover of education e and American manufacturing is detailed as was his plan to saddle the country with massive debt aiding plutocratic sons and daughters to come here into America and make financial gains through the corrupt health care system. Much of the book ends with the Trump shocker and current topics and this is an outstanding book for those wishing to get a quick perspective of the increasing role of populism and its use in getting our last few president selected and the increase in partisan electorate that only promises more in the future.
