Arnold Buckley
Author Marty Gitlan was on Nick Digilio's little-listened to radio program on WGN radio the other day talking cartoons and animations as Mr Gitlan has a book of his declarations of the hundred greatest cartoon characters of all time. About the only thing thus man got right was that Bugs Bunny deserves the top spot but Mr Gitlan and the entertainment industry hack and host Nick Digilio had an effrontery of too much praise for many of today's awful cartoons and declare them deserving to be on this list.
The dumb Digilio said that Ren and Stempy was an amazing cartoon and clearly one can see him indulging and watching this cartoon every chance he got and both of these gents also think Kenny form South Park is an amazing character. South Park heads my list of the hundred worse cartoons of all time and the only the opioid and dumbing down of this nation can best explain the popularity of the cartoon of Kenny and South Park which is both brutally drawn and helplessly stupid and unfunny.
Nothing post 1990 should be on this list of Marty Gitlin who upon research looks like he has written many books on various subjects so I don;t know how good of a critique he is of actual good and classic cartoons.
The animation today is so bad and cheap it is actually like we have regressed and are too lazy to actually have people draw on paper just using computers and most of the recent cartoons Gitlan mentioned din the top one hundred list in his book are actually garbage and will never be remembered as classics a hundred years down the road. Digilio and Gitlan know nothing of cartoons and for them to celebrate recent animations is a fucking joke as they have no perspicacity of actual good cartons with a bias for new and recent crap like the Simpsons,South Park, and family Guy nonsense and junk create today for adults like them who can't grow up. Nick Digilio is a joke and should be made into some artificial Intellect cartoon caricature for himself talking to guests on movies, cartoons, and sitcoms that take up about 99% of thought processes in this clowns head.
