Chicago is home to skyscrapers often employing many people in this ugly tall high rises that for some is a sign of progress,industry, and white collar over-paid profession. It appears though for the men who keep these tall buildings sparkling in picture people love and sights tourists venture into to look up that pay and benefits often don't match the suits in offices.
Chicago recently saw a protest of window washers in downtown Chicago and I couldn't help[ to notice that all of the union members demanding higher incomes and were of Puerto Rican extraction and it a rigged global capitalist system one couldn't help to notice that it seems always the dangerous occupations and harder work one finds people striking and protesting g for higher wages. in fact it is often the business class that gets all the attention form having others build and clean their assets that they can decide where to build and set wages and distribute themselves and the shit likes of Rahm Emanuel and Elon Musk would never have their investments repaired or maintained without the hard hats who need to organize better and help extract wealth from these plutocrats back for the masses and this failure to do so explains the continuing dominance and inequality of the kleptocratics who run these city-states as virtual fiefdoms and independent states. One never sees lawyers and executives having to protest in downtown and these Ricans called out Rahm Emanuel and the fancy pants metrosexual bastards who have high incomes met by their employers that eventually help precipitate stagnant wages for most people in real occupations such as these tough union men who often risk their lives the second they punch in and report for work.
Politicians like Emanuel tout the global city they represent but in reality when you can't or are unable to provide decent wages for the workers maintaining these tall and bogus high structures then what you have is a banana republic shit hole country on the verge of collapse
No wonder these global city-states seek migrations of peoples that they can use and abuse laying off others who demand a greater share of the pie.
These guys called out Rahm Emanuel and demanded a decent wage and in reality these men are as deserving of equal or even more compensation than for the sitting workers of these sky scrapers being that they actully do physical labor and not swindling and pork-belling speculating as many of these jackasses in downtown do.
