We have long advocated for Weinerschnitzel to be as big as Portillos in Chicago and if they received the free investor handouts to run up debt clearly this hot dog stand and it unique architecture would be a major part of the American landscape. Our own Chuck Woodfire as he has been re-branded went to this areas only WeinerSchnitzel (Sic) and had corn dogs,burgers,hot dogs, and ice cream and it was more than satisfying.
WeinerSchnizel is a simple fun looking stand and if all of these 4300 or so unique fast food dog places look like this and have an IHOP roof look then this is a cool business. The Doughboys Wiger and Weigel had done a podcast on this business
some time ago and we were surprised to see out own Champaign,County home of the Illini and university of Illinois having one of these business in the far end of town. Not many people go here because quite literally this
Weiener Schnitzel is located in the most dangerous part of town in Champaign-Urbana area full of Negroes and he warned me and others interested in trying this place do not go at night nor walk to the near by apartments as gang skuz was so readily visible selling their usual forms of crack,coke,weed, and red pills. Chuck Woodfire loves this quaint little hot dog stand with basic food one ahh can go to Aldis and purchase but it is so much better to go yourself for cheap eats especially if you have young one sin your pride who for sure would love this place.
