There are many corporatists like Mr Ricketts who made his fortune in both the scam of financial trading and technology who wish to make changes and the long reign of bars along Lincoln Avenue  in the  Lincoln Park neighborhood are in jeopardy because big shots like Mr Ricketts doesn't appreciate the fact that  they are not trusted global chains.

Tom Ricketts and other international investors wish to pretty  much take all the surrounding eatery and space as they can and clearly Mr Ricketts is elated at the prospect of another Chicago bar going under as it would put more greenbacks and sales into his coffer as owner of the Chicago Cubs

 The barrel House Flat went under and it will never come back and already Italian and Indian restaurateurs and globalists are fighting for this spot.

      Tom Ricketts has his eye son several other DePaul area bars and doesn't like the fact that these bars serve beer and have the nerve to broadcast the Cub games and he and his family are planning something to stop what he thinks is this mooching off his asset and traditional aspect of society he thinks should occur no more as an option for people unwilling to spend and wast money to watch a shitty team in person.
