The big global brands have used this Covid to pretty much use government to wreck havoc and destroy all competition from their dominance. It was bad enough that Starbucks , not much unlike Facebook, bought out several coffee chains such as caribous and Petes in order to active their national and global dominance, but now Starbucks and their evil executive and sometime presidential candidate Howard Schultz wants total command of the coffee scene and landscape. Howard Schulz is much like big tech providing opportunities for himself and his brand to dominate and kill off the competition through acquisition and use of government to go after smaller independent rival.
Howard Schultz is not eager for Covid restriction to relax as he and other big global chains prefer to have their business model be a carry out only and not seal with the stress of providing comfort and wear for sit down enjoyment n part of his customers and if Howard Schultz and the corporatists an
fast franchisees have their way there will never be any allowances or sit down for a meal or a drink in their franchises and business. Howard Schultz wishes for the mermaids who go to Starbucks to look like Tehran or Cairo with women locking up their faces to be seen and force their customers to mask up indefinitely and this man and his brand needs to be taken to task for being such a willing accomplice and maybe advocate for increase shut downs and enclosures especially of indies and small coffee owners whose destruction of their business can only guide this man to further dominate the industry.
