Portland is dangerous hell hole and Marty and Clyde got pestered at their count of a hundred
times for change in the the two days they were there. The homosexual duo were excited to try Stumptown coffee and were thus surprised how many bums hang out in front trying to bum cigarettes and other shit from people on the street and Marty and Clyde feared fro their safety and lives being in this bastion of shit and hole that has become modern day Portland.
Mary and Clyde had to meander a maze of homeless bozos and clowns all over the downtown section of this city whom Marty said has totally regressed in his lifetime and Clyde says despite the number of great restaurants and coffee houses the Northwest cities of Portland and Seattle might have the mere presence of hobo everywhere brings down the quality and image of these one time jewel American West coast cities. It is a shame to what happened to Portland but thankfully the institution of Stumptown coffee is there for the connoisseur s like Marty and Clyde
