  Neil Stienberg is a scoundrel and his recent article about Congo and the atrocities committed by the Belgians ignores the fact that before the Europeans there was even more brutality for the common African subject living under Black African kingdoms and the hundreds of years of brutality of the Black ruled Kongo Empire and the Belgians and the crimes of Congo under King Leopold is just a blip of the massive genocidal medieval crimes of this land and stan though the centuries  their a pandemic long term  culture of violence that basiclaly the Europeans just jumped in and the great powers granted the Belgium access and domination of the Congo. Steinberg is attacking

Western culture and Christianity with this focus on Congolese history and rehashing of a twenty year period when King Leopold ruled this territory ignoring the more numerous burning of villages and killing women of children various African kings in the Kongo Kingdoms did from 13th century to nineteenth century before Europeans ended the Kongo kingdom and their long tenure of reign if terror.
