There are many assholes who are so obsessed with movies and constantly quote them. These eccentric fucks are in their own universe ignoring the real Geo-political stuff that affects everyday life for people. Many have a specific favorite movie genre and these days many of them love horror movies. The fans of this genre make heroes out of cold bold killers and many fans of the horror genre really seem to enjoy the thoughts and look of other people being butchered. There is perhaps no more worse aspect of Western culture than the slasher movie that is primary targeted and profited from our nations youthful gullible, innocuous minds. Some of these movie fantasies are taken to the next level as with the Colorado batman theatre massacre and these movies inspire many crazy people out in the public.
Horror movies should be limited and maybe extremely regulated along with violent video games. The problem will be you will always have pushers out in the corporate media like Nick Digilio and other movie critics that push the awful Hollywood product. In a perfect world movie theatres will end up like blockbuster video and the movie event thing comes to and end. it may still come to that has the industry and their slave minimum wage industry really is never that secure. people could just totally opt out of the retail movie viewing experience and that would be a good thing. It would be a weakening of an industry that gives you such horror fantasy tales catering to their legion of unstable scary fans that are just a trigger away from commiting some real act.
