The problem with a capitalist private corporation is evident in the airline industry and how basically corporations are set up to treat people unequally based on wealth. United Airlines hustles frequesnt fliers asecretive, invitation only program for people who jet set and use the economy to gain access to such privledges. Only executives and their familes can amass thousands of miles a year to travel ostensibley for business purposes and the value they bring to their travels to airline companies gets them these perks. The perks of being carted immediately in front of people in line with a mercedes to mmediately drive them to another waiting airline is axiomatic of the airline industry playing the ultra rich with greater service than the rest. is it any wonder the very wealthy will fight tooth and nail to avoid taxes and any loss of these privledges in society and undermine or democracy with their money in politics when they feal perks like this are threatened. Actions of this from United Airlines and other airlines that are government subsidized are deserving of a complete industry shutdown and bankruptcy for the special treatment they give to such a few whose wealth makes them available to fly so frequently. The carriers set these people up to free resteraunt deals and sporting events despite the fact that they can easily afford these items based on frequent flying ability and again these practices and waste are only available in a private industry that actually caters to the rich while tolerating other passangers in the back of the cabin. Only paid airline consultants and lobbiest members would think this is good business practice and the ability of airlines to skirt around this inequality program without much public debate thus far has been achieved relatively easily. Issues like this are hardly expressed and pondered about whenever the topic of inequality is brought up in the West and the extreme advantages and sense of entitlement the people in America and Europe with money feel should always be given to them. Corporate programssuch as these global service flying advantages give these rich people this expectations in life and more to fear when socialism and other government actions threaten its sustainablity at a time when airlines are basically surviving for everyone. We will be all better off when companies like United Airlines goes under.
