House tabby's are amazing little beasts and serve as better watchdogs in many cases as this video out of Anchorage, Alaska points out. A big Black bear was sniffing around trying to find a way infiltrate a cabin and almost had his way into home when a housecat leaped out onto the window door scaring the bear back peddling in disbelief several yards away. This courageous act really just illustrates the territory fighting ability of a cat and it willingness to defend the households against what is obviously a big intruder. You can catch this amazing brave video at http://www.earthporm.com/wild-bear/ and see this amazing unnamed cat spring into action in defense of his family. I had a cat that often would leap at the noise of anything in the front entrance This bear is now ostracized in the local bear community after light of this video got out and how much it jumped from surprise and was last seen making his way into Canada and far away from this cat as possible. Cleary a bad encounter with candian lynxes will be avoided after this scare and realization that cats are always willing to tussle this bear no matter the size difference.
