Jeremy Repanich Deadspin peice a spin on Howard Schultz basketball team ownership

Leroy Yost
A piece written by Jeremy Repanich looing back at the Howard Schultz rule and ownership of the Seattle Supersonics illustrate his spin of the reign. Starbucks owner Howard Schultz bought a team as do many billionaires in these recent decades as the rich use sports and try to drive up costs to push the average fan out and so this asset can belong to them. Repanich covers how Schultz tried to get a new stadium at tax-payer expense so there could be more suites and seating for Microsoft executives and other corporate honchos to enjoy for themselves. the plan untimely failed and Schultz got tired and sold the team to out of town investors who so moved this sports franchise out of a progressive area and into a red state where they could control the voting and plan to get suckers fund a free stadium. Repanich worked for free as an intern and what really bothered hi according to this piece was Schultz's 'cheapness' by trying to cut costs of the sports bureaucracy where unqualified people get to be part of the sports industrial system of ach franchise. Howard Schultz cut bonuses for the teams sales staff and nickel and dimed the overabundant team staff by getting rid of free vending machines and so forth. This Deadspin dead-brained writer also complained that there was only twelve roster sports instead of millions paid for an additional thirteenth ben person whose rump was needed to warm the bench. Howard Shultz tried to keep the team in Seattle but came a few years late as the publics anger over rich people asking for handouts for their stadium and sports entertainment was boiling over. One of the reasons for increased franchise costs is the number of unnecessary trainer and staff for professional sports that are filled by insiders and politically strong and financially  influential family members enjoying a free and easy front office job in pro-sports. This Jeremy Repanich prick is just mad at Howard Schulze because he thinks he got a foot in the door and would of been vice-president in charge of player jumping  development or team sock sales. Jeremy will blame Howard Schultz for this
