Sibel Edmonds and James Corbett love Turkish tension with the West and hope for the day Turkey is no longer a strong ally in the region for the United States. The two talking pieces for Russian state TV often talk about the evils of NATO and how their policies are pushing poor mother Russia towards war.
If there is any nation whose history shows how much they have lost through the expansion it is turkey and for these two jackasses to actually think Turkey would ever get into a close relationship with Russia who has coveted controlling Istanbul again and winning the city back towards eastern orthodoxy. The modern Turk is a mixture of Central Asian , Greek,Kurdish, Arab, and native Anatolian and really is not a real ethnic group sharing little DNA heritage with the more Mongolian central Asians. Turkey has eternal enemies as it is surrounded by people who hate them and have always fought tenaciously against their Ottoman overlords and the breakup of the Turkish republic and state is an eventual outcome for these people whose Anatolian heartlands never belonged to them and was actually ethnically cleaned for generations by Turks as a form of colony. eventually the Kurds and others will send the Turks back into their central Asian homelands and join their stans and various republics or caliphates may replace much of modern Turkey as we know it.
