Notre dame professor and sleep expert Dr Jessica Payne often gives me pain having to listen from time to time at the Chicory Cafe in downtown South Bend. The Notre Dame researchers and sleep expert often speaks about the importance of sleep fr the brain and creativity and this pep talk is a no brainier. Jessica Payne often can put people to sleep in her many discussions on sleep which she seems to get many speaking gigs and opportunities for extra jingle. This woman adds nothing to her discussions and speaking of the importance of sleep is like speaking of the importance of showering, shaving, and shitting in the moning.
I cannot believe how often this woman gets lectures commanding top fees to talk of the connection of sleep with peoples emotions and personalities. This woman says it is stressful not to get proper sleep and this is about as obvious as saying the moon is out of reach unless you are an astronaut and you convince government or business to fund an expensive rocket and project.
Jessica will for a steep fee come to your group as a well-trained neuroscienceist and sleep expert and tell a crowd that mankind does not know why people and living things need sleep. I mean this is an answer Cecil Brewster can give after four shots of Vodka and three quality craft beers. This is what students are paying 60,000 grand a semester at Notre Dame? Jessica though is a rock star in South bend in both the university and off campus as she has started some on-lie venture called Somni that will bring ideas and theories of her popular course at ND called the Sleeping brain to a wider audience.I was flabbergasted when this woman once sad that to a packed audience of sleep seekers at Chicory Cafe some years back and wondered how this woman is bamboozling queer as folks with her bullshit and no answers. this woman is the head of Notre Dame's Sleep,Stress, and memory lab and what tey are doing aside from playing with mice and capturing their own zzzz while they should be defining solutions and coming up with answers. In the meantime many student will be sleeping through her course called the Sleeping brain at Notre Dame.
