Tribune columnist Ron Grossman is old and recently wrote a piece on Old Town in Chicago and how some old Greek lady said the transition reminds her of Athens Greece when she could no longer look up and see the sun. Ron Grossman can't believe all of the transitions he has seen in Old Town as shadows are more and more cast over this once tranquil neighborhood and basically what is happening is Old Town is not becoming a neighborhood but just skyscraper downtown North. Ron Grossman could never be a Mr Rogers because the flipping of Condos makes getting one to know a neighbor near impossible as well not being able to understand the various languages of the globalists buying into American and British cities.
The developing construction companies are always seeking a way to profit and shipping the bright globalists with over-paid incomes into Americana urban centers is part of this Agenda 21 plan of the globalists.
The architecture integrity of Old Town is being ruined and Ron Grossman knows this full well. What made Old Town such a cool place to be is being bulldozed into high rise Soviet style ugly looking buildings with balconies that often sit empty and wherever I see this transformation takes place I often who aside form foreigners with six places already invested and purchased would even wish to buy one of these condos. as Grossman says these condos are eye sores and many cities are just becoming one of kaleidoscopes with no views and big building butted up against one another and as James Howard Kuntsler often said these big buildings will be so costly to repair ,any will fall down into disrepair and ruin. There is nothing coo of Old Town u unless you want to live way up in the eair and wish to be a peeping tom to the next window.
