Cornell West yet to endorse Jesus Garcia for mayor of Chicago

Arnold Buckley
With Rahm Emanuel climbing gain the poll numbers leaders across the nation and city and waiting for Cornel West's announcement on who he supports in This crucial mayoral race. While Cornell has no ties to the city of Chicago his voice is important and many other black leaders have already come out to support Jesus "Chuy" Garcia whose campaign is floundering g and looking really lost. Why Cornell West has not endorsed the Garcia camp yet is unknown but it could give it a good boost if Cornell comes to Chicago and announces he backs Mr Garcia.Image result for cornel west Cornell West has been quite in the news for a while and needs to get that mug in front of National Cameras on a topic aside from police brutality . Many of Cornell's fans in the city are hugely disappointed that the man has yet to come out in support of a candidate yet in this race as he has in many other major political races through the years. Cornell may realize that the huge amount of corporate money pretty ,ugh has already determined the race and may not want to get involved with a obvious political defeat as Emanuel is pretty much untouchable for now. Many do t really care about the closure of underperforming schools that did nothing over the years providing a quality education to kids on the South Side. Jesus Garcia has been as charismatic in this calming as a Russian whaler and this is  part of the problem why he is getting crushed in the polls despite the massive hatred for the arrogant Rahm Emanuel. Maybe Cornell West's aids reached about to "Chuy" and his overwhelmed staff has yet to reach out but the race is getting in the stretch run and Jesus is getting crucified with the recent poll numbers that may or not be screwed by corporate media but nonetheless is having a huge impact with the direction of the campaign to unseat the jagoff Emanuel. Cornell West needs to get involved now and diss this Emanuel to a National audience and more importantly to a Emanuel accepting black voting class
