French Taxi cab de tweeted live how her Uber driver was attacked during last weeks massive taxi riots in Paris. It seems that these taxi drivers like drivers world wide are worried as fuck about the rise of alternative urban transportation choices and they scared the shit out of Courtney Love, the bimbo who was married to suicidal Kurt Cobain.
The elite Courtney Love couldn't believe this was France where men were shouting and attacking the singer and performer like many elite travels to Paris frequently and needs to be shuffled around. 
She may have a personal preference of a driver someone recommended that would be safe and so forth instead of the antiqued version of hopping into a taxi with some stranger. Courtney Love couldn't believe this was France where men were shouting and attacking these Uber cars with clubs, bats and bricks. Taxi drivers justified this violence saying Uber was ruining their livihood by competing with their monopoly and system where a medallion is seen as in investment and out of the reach of simple drivers. 
The taxi system in France was able to use their power to outlaw Uber and other ride sharing companies but these companies are still providing service on the streets of France. Whether these mobs are taxi drivers of Middle eastern extraction was not yet known but most the likelihood bringing the havoc of their lan ds into a political debate about the availability of other companies and services for people needing to get around the country.
