Dr Laurence Kotlikoff is running for president as a write in candidate and he has about as much chance of getting elected as Kim Jung Un. Laurence Kotlikoff of course is a favorite of this blog and we treasure his YouTube economic appearances as h has a sunny disposition when talking about the comng collapse of social security and just of society in general. This guy will look great on stage wit Clinton and Trump and he will bring a conservative view on fiscal issues and arguing that the U.S. faces a $199 trillion "fiscal gap" while taking liberal positions on abortion, gay marriage, legalization of marijuana, incarceration and gun control.
"Nobody who has actually studied this stuff and written about it has run for president," Mr. Kotlikoff said of his economic expertise in an interview. Dr Kotlikoff is an expert on all tings economics as is generations of students will attest and from what I hear this man is difficult to crack an A in one of his economic classes trough the years but he will crack a smile when discussing his study of how much debt the current generation is heaping onto future ones. Dr Kotlikoff should be the Bernie sanders of today but he aims for the top instead of starting out slow and running as a top position in some far away inconsequential state such as Vermont. I would liked to see Larry run for mayor of Greenwich, Connecticut or perhaps Trenton New Jersey. maybe run and run these two disparate cities at the same time to portray the inequality gap. It's too bad because Dr Kotlikoff could of been another Bernie and perhaps if he would run and gain office his name recognition would of got out more. Tis run in attempt that he just announced a few days ago is absolutely futile and a complete joke. The only other thing assured from tis failed attempt for the presidency by Dr Kotlikoff is that most of the write-in names he does get most likely will not even spell his name correctly. if your looking not to vote for any or the main stream candidates and are one of those people who love voting for odd candidates every four years as a personal statement about politics then I highly recommend you fill in a vote for this gu.
