tragedy at Preakness shows dangers horse slaves face racing in a track

two horses died at the undercard of the Preakeness in the terrible debacle and sport of horse rush torture for spectacle. You see what horseracing is about is that it is another avenue for rich assholes to create value ark that over-value through assets such as owning and racing horses. Two horses had to die at this weekend event and hopefully their deaths will not be in vain and there will be more reflection as to the sacrifice horses need to make through forced brutality of racing them for entertainment and wager.
Though the deaths shocked some spectators at the 141st Preakness Stakes on Saturday, more than 30 horses have died at Pimlico in the past six years – a fact generally unknown to casual fans, or those who attend the annual event to party in the infield.
Homeboykris, a 9-year-old gelding, collapsed after wwinning the first race on Saturday. Track officials believe he had a heart problem. His carcass is to undergo a necropsy to determine the cause of death. it will then be donated to some local zoo  for lions and lionesses to devour. The other unfortunate horse to fall victim  was Pramedya, a 4-year-old filly, fractured her left front leg in the fourth race and was euthanized on the track. one wonders if these owners can now collect on insurance much like those individuals who torch their vehicles in the middle of the night. The Preakness in the middle broken leg of the triple crown horse torture sport that usually gets little attention outside these three events despite the constant news coverage and small radio and TV airing of news trying to make folks think there is some actual long all-season interest in this sport for the ultra-wealthy. The National Thoroughbred Racing Association formed a Safety and Integrity Alliance to establish national standards that would cover the use of medications in horse racing.
Legislation introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives would establish an independent anti-doping organization for horse racing, but the bill has not progressed beyond a subcommittee.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has focused the use of muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories and other drugs in racing, which the group says can mask injuries.
After the deaths of Homeboykris and Pramedya, PETA called on their owners to release the horses' veterinary records. the horses are nothing but meat to these owners wo will work them and rush them until they drop dead flat like a pancake.
